Member Benefits
Each program is faced with different issues in their struggle to provide services to Nevada Seniors in the most effective way possible, that recognize the unique character of each service, the seniors served, and the service area. Membership benefits include:
- a Statewide organization that links Senior programs in Nevada into one voice for the benefit of Seniors.
- a Statewide organization that promotes the well being and the interests of Seniors under one organization.
- a web site that gives you information about the educational work that is being done on your behalf.
- collaboration opportunities with other groups in the field of aging and service to communities.
- opportunities to voice your issues through regular communication and to have your issue brought to a statewide audience.
- information and education on the programs available to seniors.
- information and input into the activities of Nevada Senior Advocates that was formed to work with state and local elected officials on matters of importance to seniors, and the senior service provider community.
The most important issues are the ones we have in common. Adequate funding is a necessity and flexibility is a close second. The key to our success depends upon people in our State taking a unified stand and having a voice that is heard. Your voice is needed and your issues need representation which is why we joined with Nevada Senior Advocates, and encourage you to join the Nevada Senior Corps Association.
Please join the Nevada Senior Corps Association where your opinions, issues and voice will be heard and acted upon. Together we are stronger and can make a positive difference in the lives of Nevada Seniors and their loved ones.
